Hurricane Ida Damage to GMUMC
Our church buildings sustained heavy damage during hurricane Ida. The Sanctuary will need to be torn down, but our plan is to repair and rebuild our Educational Building and Fellowship Hall and move our Sanctuary into the Fellowship Hall.
The muck out of our sanctuary is complete (see photo). One more good work day should allow us to complete the task needed on the grounds and inside the Education and Fellowship buildings. Then demolition of the sanctuary will take place and the rebuilding process on the fellowship hall will begin.
God continues to bless us each day despite the challenges we are going through!
To Him be all Glory, Honor and Praise!
If you feel God moving you to help us in this time of great need for our church, know that we would be very grateful for your support.
